CRACKING ART IN ARONA
Cracking Art has brought its colorful and sustainable art to Arona,
transforming the city into an open-air museum from April 30th to October 30th, 2025.
The project, titled "the call of water" is promoted by the Municipality of Arona in collaboration with the artistic collective Cracking Art.
The installations include sculptures of animals such as frogs, crocodiles, elephants, and penguins, made from regenerated plastic, located in squares, along the lakeside, and in other public areas.
The works are designed to raise public awareness on issues of environmental sustainability and beauty through an artistic language accessible to all.
Some sculptures, such as the regenerated plastic frogs, are available in reduced versions at the Arona Tourist Office, with proceeds going to a local association.
This initiative is part of a broad program of events and exhibitions by the Cracking Art collective, which has created installations in various Italian and international cities.
If you find yourself in Arona or nearby, this is a unique opportunity to explore contemporary art in a suggestive natural setting.
Arona thus becomes an open-air stage, capable of engaging adults and children in an aesthetic and educational experience.
